Northwood is a highly desirable and affluent area located on the edge of London's Green Belt in the Borough of Hillingdon. It is characterised by its high-quality private and state schools (including St Martin's, St Helen's and Merchant Taylors'), its excellent high street and its many green spaces, such as the Gravel Pits and Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve.

This family-orientated area boasts a wide range of property types to suit all tastes, from houses and flats to much more extravagant homes. An area of special interest that incorporates the old High Street, Chester Road and Hallowell Road is dotted with numerous Victorian-era properties.

Northwood is especially popular with affluent professionals thanks to its close proximity to central London, which can be reached in just 40 minutes via the Metropolitan line. The area is also served by three motorways, with the M1, M25 and M40 all within a 15-minute drive.
